Their new 'Air' Macbook advert is a great example. No gimmicks or fancy chat, just a nice shot of the laptop on top of an envelope before somebody opens it (plus twinkly music in the background). It looks great!Simon Gregoryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16751054954895685779noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7431663474847649069.post-25087330817279220602008-03-31T17:39:00.000+01:002008-03-31T17:39:00.000+01:00Hi Simon - did you see this presentation by Paul I...Hi Simon - did you see this presentation by Paul Isakson? ( http://www.slideshare.net/paulisakson/whats-next-in-marketing-advertising-318143/ ). You guys seem to be singing from the same hymn sheet. Whether medium, product or service, utility and usefulness is becoming increasingly important. iPod's aren't number 1 purely because of their advertising - Apple also happen to make some damn good mp3 players.

SimonAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7431663474847649069.post-44433044958141250362008-02-26T12:54:00.000+00:002008-02-26T12:54:00.000+00:00Agreed - although I do find it interesting that th...Agreed - although I do find it interesting that there are a lot more 'types' of brands willing to exploit the Super Bowl compared to the Champions League. It's a lot more limited when it comes to the footy - all about the car porn and booze! An insight into respective sport audiences? Probably.

Thanks for you comment and for the blog link! The Olympics is too infrequent and I can't see The Champion's League reaching those levels, so it looks like the Superbowl may well continue to be a one offAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7431663474847649069.post-66555390772954452652008-02-15T13:03:00.000+00:002008-02-15T13:03:00.000+00:00Perfect!
